Wedding Ring

With this ring We’ve all seen the classic gold wedding band. But some brides have been opting for other bands. While jewel encrusted channel sets are always popular, many brides have been opting for rings that celebrate their ethnic heritage. Some Assembly required. Some Italian brides get a puzzle ring that has to be aligned properly in order for the ring to be worn. This is supposedly a test of the bride’s fidelity. I think it’s just plain fun. Many puzzle rings look like knot-work when assemble, making them a great play on words when you “tie the knot.” When Irish Eyes Are Smiling Many brides and grooms of Irish descent choose bands engraved with knot-work or the Claddagh. The Claddagh symbolizes love (the heart), loyalty (the crown), and friendship (the hands), and has a whole tradition on how it must be worn. If you are married you ware the Claddagh on your left hand with the crown pointing away from your heart. If you are single (and fishing for a man) you ware the Claddagh on your right hand with the crown pointing towards your heart. With this Ink I thee wed Have you thought about a Tattoo? No I’m not joking. You can’t lose a tattoo, and you do plan on being with you Sweet Baboo “until death do us part.” Why not? A wedding ring tattoo is can be a lot cheaper than buying a wedding band, the perfect fit for a non-traditional bride on a budget. Article From: www.weddings.sc/blog/2007/11/27/with-this-ring/
