Question: i recently bought a new plaid shirt (black/turquoise), but i can't decide how to dress it up. any suggestions?

stick with casual clothes. denim or black skinny jeans and converse would work well for example :D ballet flats, as long as they don't stand out too much, are fine. for flats, i'd stick with solid colors, maybe black or a dark blue. boots are also great, especially with the season and all that. wear uggs (if you like them. i don't, but it's your decision :] ) or basically any other kind of calf or ankle-high boots with the jeans. if it's leather, then brown is probably the best. if it's a suede material, black or grey would match well. if the shirt is long enough, you can wear leggings as another option, but i tend to stay away from it, since people who do this wear shirts that barely even cover their butts -__-

if it's a button-up shirt, try wearing a cami or a tank top underneath and leaving it open. you can also close it and wear a belt around your waist. a brown or black plain leather belt would work great, or you can try wearing one that has some kind of pattern on it.

for jewelry, keep it simple. a cuff bracelet and some basic silver rings are all you need if you want to add jewelry. a necklace with a small pendant might also work :D

Heels, and if you have a long necklace with glass beads, or someting of that type, where you can flip it twice.if you wear black pants it would totally pull it together.
