Question #1:
Buying a Designer dog? What should I expect?
Here's the thing, I want to rescue a dog, a big puppy, preferably a saint Bernard. I posted an ad on Craigslist saying I wanted to rescue a big puppy, and give him a forever home. Someone responded with a litter of pyredoodle pups.................Should I? They are 300 each, and she said that she Wouldn't dock my pups tail, I feel that it's cruel. If the dog didn't need his tail, he would have been born without it. I live in an apartment, about 1000 square feet, in a nice town, with stores within walking distance, and I love walking and going to the park, would this dog be good for me?no rescues will let me adopt. I live in an apartment.......its a back yard required thing where i live.
I want to adopt, or foster a dog, or two, BUT I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT, and the dog RESCUES around here REQUIRE a FENCED IN BACK YARD....that doesn't happen in apartments.
I know it's just a damn mutt, but Im wondering if it's worth it to buy a mutt. I know its not going to be any better than any other dog, but im wondering since, i can't adopt, should i buy this very overpriced, mutt.
You dog fanatics really put people off, I wanted advice, not criticism.
wow, and i thought i was crazy, it's just a damn dog, and my damn money....
It's just frustrating to post a question asking for honest opinions, and to get back BS from tens of people, all dissing a BYB, when I too, don't agree with them, It was just more of a Should I, rather than an I want to, and I'm going to, Please get pissed at me for no reason.
And some big dogs don't need much more than a walk, dyk that St Bernards SHOULD NOT BE WALKED for more than 15 mins, BEFORE THE AGE OF 2. Their bones are fragile, and still growing.
So there. It's just one dog out of a million. The fuss isn't worth it. It's alive already, and the BYB will CONTINUE to breed, no matter what. Nothing that Y!A can do about it.
It's like saying NO dogs should be bred until ALL dogs are out of the pound. It's a lost cause.
I was just asking for opinions, I DONT WANT THE PUPPY. It was just option 100 of 100000000000. I personally think they look too much like poodles, no offense poodle lovers. I was just asking, if i should consider this puppy. And I get it, it's a no. I should rescue/adopt/rehome. No buying. OK. OK OK. Thank you for your time.

Question #3:
A question about looking at women who are dressed up, who take offense at it?
sorry if I fail to explicitly state a question, you get the idea. The women who would take offense at a man staring at her for being dressed up, slutty, classy, whatever. I understand that some say they do it for themselves, to feel high self esteem, but isn't that just a portion of it? If you live in a vacuum sure, however it would follow that extra attention would reinforce the fact that she looks good. Consider the ongoing debate about skinny runway models, the designers say it's about emphasizing the clothes, so the models should just fade away into obscurity if that's true, but they don't. So it's just dress up with her, it's a private affair, no judgments or any dialogue on the matter is allowed. If I'm in the bathroom getting ready then I close the door, I could lock it but it's really not worth the time and energy. I may be embarrassed by my bad habits, I'm not usually shy of my good ones.Seeker, I agree with your statement but not your points.
Morgan, it is a question, but I'm not going to argue with you.
Question #4:
Who is your favorite handbag designer?
Who do you think designs the nieces purses? And why?Question #5:
My step son is ridiculously lazy. How can I help motivate him?
Here's the break down. He's 19. He simply refuses to get a job or go to school. Currently he lives with his mother in Texas, his dad and I live in California. He stayed with us for 8 months last year, and no matter what we did we couldn't get him to get a job, or even off the couch. He's really motivated to do absolutely nothing. If we took the PS3 controllers, he's sit on the computer all day. If we shut the internet off also, he'd watch TV. If we shut the cable down, he'd sleep all day. His dad and I both work full time, and are not home to make him get off the couch. His mother is throwing up her hands, partly because now he's hanging out with a bunch of drug addicts. (I don't really blame her), so he is moving back in with us. What can I do? Any suggestions?
When I ask him what he wants to do, he says nothing. He wants us to support him forever. When I suggest things like going to school to be a video game designer, he says it's too much work. I'm so exasperated with him, I just want him to do SOMETHING. Anything.
I know he likes photography, but he won't work at that either. How can I get him excited about doing something with his life?

Question #7:
I want to make my own wedding gown and my own bridesmaids dresses but will that be too much?
I'm getting married in a few months as a matter of fact I've already booked the venue and sent off for the invitations but since I'm an aspiring fashion designer I was thinking of designing and making my own gown and also the bridesmaids dresses as well. Granted I have a lot of other stuff to do for the wedding as well like finding a caterer, doing place settings for the reecption, mail of the invitations, etc but however I have my heart set on designing my own dress and stuff but my mom thinks it will be too much. Is she right?Question #8:
Becoming a fashion designer?
I already design and sew clothes on my own and I've even made some money during prom season and doing wedding parties as well but I really want to make my own line, hopefully of formal wear but exactly what does it take to start your own line, like financially. I figure I can start from my apartment and work my way up but does it cost a lot of money to get started with other things?Question #9:
Is this okay for bridesmaids gifts??? What to get the last girl?
I have six girls and this was what I was planning on giving them. I am giving different gifts to each of them but giving them the gifts at separate times so there is no jealousy. Even though I don't think there would be jealousy because i'm trying to get something that is her personality. One girl is really country but glam at the same time I was thinking of getting her horse shoe earrings that have studs on them and some lip gloss that she loves. One girl is really into movies so I was going to get her a basket with candies popcorn and her favorite movie that she doesn't have. One is really into scrap book things so I was going to get her a few scrapbook items. One just moved into an apartment and loves to cook so i was going to get her an apron or a cookbook with some cookie or other mix. For my maid of honor she is a partier so i found this super cute personalized margarita set or I was going to make her a basket with jewelry, makeup or silk pajamas or something like that:] I also thought of getting a designer purse from ross or TJMaxx(brand new but only cost about $50) For my last girl she is really into snowboarding but I don't want to get her anything she wont like, use or something she already has. Are there any certain items that a snowboarder always uses or maybe just another idea? I was also probably going to make them all a card with sentimental written stuff:] would that be okay?
Question #10:
How hard would it be to create a website like....?
How hard would it be to create a website like Yahoo Answers except instead of being for everyone to ask and answer about everything....its just based on one thing ie "Sports Answers" "Paranormal Answers" or "Science Answers"Im asking because i think it be good for people who are deeply intrested in a certain area to go on and that way you wouldnt get people asking pointless, boring, meaningless, un-original questions ie "2012 world ending?" "Are ghosts real?" And "My dog barked, is my home haunted?"
Basically, If you know or if your web designer or something like that, what are the chances of this being able to be made, do you need to be ridiculously good to do it or is it simple for web designers or computer programmers ect
Im sorry if you do not understand i will try to rephrase.

I'm a senior in High School so I have a little bit of time to decide. But is Electrical Engineering a good job for me? In school math is my best subject and science is probably 3rd so I think I have the criteria necessary to be a engineer but is Electrical the right fit for me?Mechanical Engineering is my second choice however I would like to incorporate electrical attributes into my skills.

There is only one store in the US that is authorized to see the dresses. It's only about 6 hours away from me. It's not that bad.
My mother said maybe I could go down to try some gowns on and then see if I can find the styles cheaper online.
1. I don't want to waste the consultants time.
2. I am super nervous about buying online because of all the horror stories.

Question #15:
Why was Laura Bush so much better than Michelle Obama?
Besides not acting like a spoilt diva that is.Remember the narrative: Conservative women are elitists who decorate, buy nice clothes and play Barbie; liberal first ladies are independent feminists who can't be bothered by inanities like fashion and play. But Michelle this summer enjoyed a movable feast from Marbella to Martha's Vineyard, in designer clothes and shades. Laura Bush used to vacation at the national parks.
